How to apply for Registration:
Every petty Food Business Operator shall register themselves with the Registering Authority by submitting an On-line application in Form – A in the Website: www.foodlicensing.fssai.gov.in
The petty food manufacturer shall follow the basic hygiene and safety requirements provided in Part 1 of Schedule 4 of these Regulations and provide a self attested declaration of adherence to these requirement with the application in the format provided in Annexure – 1 under Schedule
In the event of an inspection being ordered, the registration shall be granted by the Registering Authority after being satisfied with the safety, hygiene and sanitary conditions of the premises as contained in Part II of Schedule 4 within a period of 30 days.
The name of the FBO should be spelt correctly and in bold letters in the application
As per the successful submission of application, the system will generate a unique Reference Id for the application
Fee to be paid through Treasury Challan under Head of Accounts: “0210-Medical & Public Health – 04 105”
Take a print out of the "Acknowledgment" and "Online Application Form"
Submit the application alongwith supported documents, Treasury Challan (Refer Document Checklist) physically in file to the Registering Authority of the concerned district in the office of the Joint Director of Health Services.
